      PRIVATE AND NONLOCAL EVENTS

    • Out of the area events, events not open to the general public and events you would simply prefer not appear on the main sterba.com events calendar can appear on your website and not on sterba.com.

To enter such an event, simply enter the complete address in the address field, including the city, and select "Other" as the city. The main Sterba events calendar will not display events that have the "Other" selection made in the city pulldown menu.

If you would like to publicize your event in a city that is not listed, request for the city to be added into our pulldown menu by emailing to support@sterba.com

SELECTING CATEGORIES

  • It is highly recommended you list your event in as many applicable categories as is feasible.
  • Each additional category you select increases the chances to your target audience finding out about your event, making the event listed in the main events calendar that many more times.

For example, a free rock concert should be listed as "$5 or Less" as well as "Free", while a $3 event should be listed at least under the "$5 or Less" category. The "Live Music" category should also be selected. Type of music and other selections would then be made, as necessary.

You can request for additional categories to be added to our pulldown menus by emailing to support@sterba.com

ONGOING OR REPETITIVE EVENTS

  • If you have an event that repeats, you can save yourself a lot of typing by not entering all of the information separately for each event.

Simply completely fill out the form and submit it. When the next blank form appears, simply click on the BACK button, only change the date and submit the event again. Each submission will create a new event entry in our database.
